FREEDOM IS A SPIRITUAL ISSUE
One of the things I never want to lose sight of is the human cost behind cannabis prohibition.
That’s why I’ve dedicated space on TheCannastrologer.com to education and advocacy—including the story of my friend Edwin Rubis, who has spent decades incarcerated for a nonviolent cannabis offense.
Edwin and I connected through faith, friendship, and a shared belief that freedom is worth fighting for.
Our conversations have reminded me that advocacy isn’t always about having the loudest voice in the room.
Sometimes it’s about showing up. Staying connected. Keeping someone’s story alive. And refusing to let them be forgotten.
I believe in Edwin’s freedom, and I will continue to use my voice to help tell his story.
